A full detail is a complete inside-and-out clean of your vehicle. On the outside we hand wash the paint, clean the wheels and tires, and clear off the bugs, tar, and road film a regular car wash leaves behind. Inside we vacuum the carpets and seats, steam and shampoo the upholstery, wipe down every panel and vent, clean the door jambs, and finish the glass streak-free. It's the package most people get when they want the whole car handled in one visit.
Day-to-day driving grinds dirt into the carpet and bakes grime onto the paint, and most of it never comes off in a drive-through wash. A full detail pulls all of that out at once. It keeps the interior from wearing out early, protects the paint from the salt and sun that fade and pit it, and makes the car a lot more pleasant to get into every morning. If you're about to sell or trade it in, a full detail is the cheapest way to bump what a buyer will pay.
Most folks book a full detail a couple of times a year, or before a road trip, a sale, or handing the car down to someone in the family. It's also the right call after a winter of road salt, a summer of pollen and love-bugs, or any time the inside has gotten away from you — spilled drinks, pet hair, kids, work mess. If it's been more than a year, it's time.
