Getting Your Boat Ready for the Season
We don't just do cars. A boat that's been sitting since last fall needs more than a quick rinse before it goes back in the water, and a proper detail at the start of the season pays off all summer.
Fiberglass needs protection
Gel coat fades and goes chalky when it sits in the sun, and once it oxidizes it's a lot of work to bring back. A season-start detail cleans the hull and deck and lays down a wax that protects the fiberglass and brings back the shine. Do it now and the boat stays easier to keep up the rest of the year.
Don't forget the seats
Vinyl seats are where mildew and cracking start, especially on a boat that sat covered and damp through the winter. Cleaning and conditioning the vinyl keeps it from drying out and splitting — which is a lot cheaper than reupholstering down the road.
Inside and out
We handle the whole thing: hull, deck, seats, and the cleanup inside the boat that builds up over a season of fishing and family days on the water. Same goes for RVs and campers — get them cleaned up before a big trip and again before they go into storage so they don't sit dirty.
