Boat and RV detailing is the same care we give a car, scaled up for bigger toys. On a boat we wash the hull and deck, clean and condition the vinyl seats, and wax the fiberglass to bring back the gloss and fight off oxidation. On an RV or camper we handle the exterior, the windows, and the living space inside. Both take more time and the right products, which is why a lot of regular car washes won't touch them.
Boats and RVs live a hard life: sun, water, and long stretches sitting parked. Fiberglass oxidizes and goes chalky, vinyl seats crack and mildew, and the inside of a camper gets musty if it's not cleaned out. Regular detailing keeps the gel coat protected and shining, keeps the seats from rotting, and keeps the inside fresh, all of which protects what is usually a pretty serious investment.
Detail a boat at the start of the season, again at the end before it's stored, and a wash any time it's been sitting.
